MERRY CHRISTMAS!! This post is going to be mostly pictures and their captions, so no worries - you won't have a "book" to read! :-) This was the first Christmas that John and I were able to spend together (as opposed to on the opposite ends of the country) and this was Madelyn's very first Christmas!!

Here is our first family ornament that I got for us from the stand in the mall. It has Madelyn's birthdate, weight, and length written on it so that we always remember the first Christmas and how she was born so close to it:

Here is my big Christmas present from John. Since this is my first Christmas as a mommy, he got me the mother/baby necklace from Kay:

John's big present from me was a new Toaster Oven because Orion chewed through the cord to our first one and knocked it over, so it was completely useless. That happened the first week we had Orion, and John has gone without bagels ever since. He was very excited to get it:

After enjoying Christmas morning at home with just the three of us, we went into town to Mum Mum's house. As soon as we walked in, Colleen started holding Madelyn. Here's a picture of a full couch - Colleen, Madelyn, Chili, and Jamison:
